Individual Workout 

What is the Individual Workout ?

The Individual Workout is basketball program designed for the players aged from 11 to 19 years. The program target is to familiarize players with the modern basketball, through learning and corrections of the existing basketball skills.

 

The individual training is organized for the small group of players and creates a possibility for more repetitions with much more coach attention, than on the team practice. This kind of workout helps players to transform their skills, during automatization of the move, to more rational and functional techniques.

 

The process of “purifying” the existing techniques, will increase the player’s speed, and after that, they will be able to play with more success and better performance in the game.

What kind of skills are taught ?

Skills that players will learn are personalized accordance with age, current skill level, physical characteristics, and positions that player use to play.

 

Some of the elements that will be coached are: coordination and step work, demarcation (how to get open), pivot and fakes in the moment of reception of the ball, dribble, fakes in the dribble, penetration, shot after the dribble from different angles and distance, jump shot (with photo, video and slow motion analysis), improving percentage of free throw shooting, different scoring technique after contact game and fakes, face to face and back techniques for low post position, games 1-1, 1-1 +1, 1x1 + 1x1, 2-2 (pick & roll), different passing technique and basic defense technique.

How to book an Individual Workout?

Player has to decide how many practices need. To guarantee improving, player has to make at least 5 practices and choose if will practice once, twice, or three times per week.

 
We will do our best to provide player’s preferred hours and days. At the same time, the player has to decide if they want to practice alone or with another player(s) (1, 2 or 3). Player has to register for 5, 10 or 15 practices. The duration of each workout is 1 hour.
